Recommended Chairs and Stools

Are you looking for a chair that can help to improve your posture and alleviate back pain? Many standard chairs these days do not adequately support the pelvis and spine, and can therefore cause excessive and unnecessary muscular tension, leading to back pain or poor breathing habits. In contrast, our chairs are fully adjustable and, crucially, can be adjusted to tilt forwards, supporting the pelvis and therefore the spine. Forward tilting chairs are recommended not only by many Alexander teachers, but by the National Back Pain Society, UK. Some of these chairs were jointly designed by Richard Brennan, Director of the Alexander Technique Centre, and a highly experienced and long established Irish specialist seating manufacturer. They are assembled and upholstered in Ireland. All are approved by Richard Brennan.

Fabric and colour choice

Working seats are covered with high quality stretch crepe fabric. Wipe clean or use upholstery shampoo. Saddle chairs are covered with tough, leather-like vinyl, very easily wiped clean. All chairs available in black or blue.

There is a 3 year guarantee on all chairs subject to normal use.

Delivery

Ireland: Free within the Dublin area. Outside Dublin, €15.
Europe: Delivery by DHL couriers. Cost varies by destination country.
Outside Europe: Unfortunately we don't accept orders from outside Europe.
